Elderly man rescued from eight-meter-deep well
Firefighters rescued an elderly man who had fallen into a dry well in the municipality of Avgorou in the Famagusta district. The well measured two by one meter and was approximately eight meters deep. The fire department was alerted to the rescue operation at 12:26 p.m.
