Electric Scooter Accidents in Cyprus Surge Despite Complaints
Electric kick scooters are causing increasingly more accidents in Cyprus: police reported to the Parliamentary Traffic Committee a dramatic rise in injuries over the last 18 months. While only two accidents were registered in 2024 (one of them serious), there were already 15 cases in 2025, with two fatalities so far this year despite thousands of annual complaints.
