Electricity Authority Unions Warn of Further Strikes
The unions of the Cyprus electricity authority (EAC) announced that further strike measures will follow after they had already conducted a 24-hour strike the previous week. The strike on Thursday led to the closure of the EAC headquarters and customer service offices, but did not affect electricity supply. Union chief Kyriacos Tafounas stated that their complaints voiced months ago remain unresolved.
