Electricity Price Cuts Delayed Despite Falling Oil Prices
While international oil prices are falling and Brent crude is trading around 72 dollars per barrel, a reduction in electricity prices in Cyprus is not expected for one to two months. The reason is that the Cyprus Electricity Authority has reserves that were purchased at higher prices and must be used up before price reductions are possible.
