Emergency sailing ban decided after Cape Greco tragedy
Following the death of businessman Dimi Mavropoulos in a boating accident off Cape Greco, the cabinet plans to enact a temporary decree prohibiting ships during extreme weather. Justice Minister Costas Fytiris announced approval for Tuesday. Three authorities are investigating the tragedy in which Mavropoulos died, while a friend honored him as the "master" of the area.
