Employer convicted after stabbing
A 31-year-old Iraqi national with Cypriot citizenship was sentenced to four years in prison by the Permanent Assize Court in Larnaca. In August 2024, he attacked a security officer at a migration center in Kophinou with a knife after the officer made a remark to him.
