French conglomerate Meridiam has entered the Great Sea Interconnector (GSI) project with a majority stake, improving the infrastructure project's realization prospects. However, energy expert Charles Ellinas warns that Cyprus must not remain a spectator to such significant infrastructure and must demand greater participation.
