Energy Minister confirms storage plans by end of 2027
Cypriot Energy Minister Michalis Damianos confirmed that by the end of 2027, several hundred megawatts of energy storage capacity will be available in the system. This will enable higher uptake of renewable energy in the energy mix and improve energy security. The minister presented these plans during a high-level workshop of the Chamber of Industry on energy efficiency.
