English School Honors Heroic Death of Michalis Karaolis
The English School held a memorial ceremony commemorating the execution of freedom fighter Michalis Karaolis that took place 70 years ago. The emotional ceremony was attended by the school community, the Karaolis family, alumni, and former classmates from the class of 1953. The program included a Trisagion as well as speeches by the school principal and Alexios Savva Karaolis, a sixth-grade student.
