Eni and TotalEnergies develop Kronos gas field off Cyprus
Italian Eni and French TotalEnergies are close to making a final investment decision for developing the "Kronos" gas field in Cyprus's exclusive economic zone. The two energy companies plan to begin extracting natural gas from 2028 to diversify Europe's energy supply with nearby gas sources. The project is strategically important for European energy security.
