Environmental activists call for assessment of Akrotiri antennas
The Association of Cypriot Environmental Organizations (Opok) is demanding a complete environmental impact assessment and public debate before new antennas are installed at the British military bases in Akrotiri. The organization expressed concerns regarding the impact of the antennas on the peninsula, its birdlife, wetlands, and coastal habitats.
