Environmental Groups Call for Government Action on Nature Conservation
Five environmental organizations have issued an open letter to President Christodoulides, demanding that the government uphold its commitments to nature conservation and biodiversity protection. The organizations criticize ongoing EU infringement proceedings against Cyprus, delays in implementing decisions regarding the Akamas National Park, and lack of transparency in providing environmental information.
