Environmental groups demand halt to quarry expansion in Sia
The Cyprus Environmental Organizations Federation (OPOK) rejects any further expansion of quarry activities in Sia following the issuance of an exploration permit. The federation warns of significant impacts on the local community and environment and calls for the protection of Xylias Hill.
