Environmentalists demand investigation into cat violence in Lakatamia
The Ecologists movement is calling for an investigation into multiple shooting incidents against cats in a residential area of Lakatamia in Nicosia. Over the past years, at least three cats in the same courtyard have been shot – two were killed, one survived after surgical treatment. The movement views this as both an animal welfare and a law enforcement issue.
