Equality in Police: Will Cyprus Ever Have a Female Police Chief?
The article analyzes the underrepresentation of women in leadership positions in the Cypriot police. Although women have worked in the police since the founding of the republic in 1964, Cyprus has never had a female police chief after over 60 years. This raises questions about gender parity in the public service.
