Erdogan dismisses education state secretary following school attacks
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan dismissed the state secretary in the education ministry by presidential decree following two armed attacks on schools in April. Nine people were killed in the attacks, including eight students aged 10 and 11 as well as one teacher. A 14-year-old teenager was responsible for the attacks.
