Erdogan Sends Vice President to Invasion Anniversary in the North
Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz will represent President Erdogan at invasion anniversary celebrations in the north after Erdogan cancelled his personal attendance. Yilmaz had previously signed an agreement for the construction of a natural gas pipeline from the mainland to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
