Erosion Threatens Oroklini Beach and Tourist Infrastructure
Erosion at Oroklini Beach in Larnaca is advancing at an alarming rate and endangering hotel properties as well as the waterfront promenade, which has partially collapsed. Despite documented danger, authorities have so far failed to reach agreement on remedial measures, while children and pedestrians walk past large erosion holes.
