Escalation in Iran conflict: US threatens economic offensive
The US is threatening Iran with the 'largest financial offensive ever assembled' as it introduced economic sanctions against Iran's trading partners on Monday. Iran responded in turn with threats to halt all oil exports from the Gulf should the economic war continue. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will lead a corresponding conference.
