ETEK Demands Immediate Action Against Deteriorating Buildings
Following the partial collapse of a multi-family residence in Limassol, in which two people died, the president of the Cypriot Engineering Chamber (ETEK), Konstantinos Konstantis, is demanding immediate measures to monitor dangerous buildings. He described Cyprus's building stock as "aging excessively" and called for improved legislation and preventive inspections to prevent similar tragedies.
