EU Accelerates IRIS² Satellite Network with 348 Satellites
The European Commission and the SpaceRISE consortium have signed an implementation agreement for the new EU satellite network IRIS². The agreement provides for the addition of 66 additional satellites in low Earth orbit, bringing the total number of the main constellation to 348 satellites. The program is thus entering a new development phase.
