EU Accusations Against Meta Over Lack of Child Safety
EU regulatory authorities have accused Meta, Facebook, and Instagram of violating provisions of the Digital Services Act. The company allegedly fails to adequately keep children under 13 years old off the platforms and must take stronger action against illegal and harmful content.
