EU appoints Cyprus problem envoy at vice-presidential level
The European Commission will appoint one of its vice presidents as an envoy for the Cyprus question, announced Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The appointment was deliberately elevated to a higher level after Nicosia and Brussels agreed on an upgrade.
