EU Approves Simplified AI Law Following Industry Pressure
After nine hours of negotiations, EU lawmakers agreed to a weakened version of the AI law. Cyprus's Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna welcomed the agreement as support for European businesses through the reduction of administrative costs. The accord still requires formal ratification by EU governments and the European Parliament.
