EU beer production slightly down in 2025 despite German leadership position
EU countries produced a total of 34.4 billion liters of beer in 2025, a decrease of 0.7 percent compared to 2024. Germany continues to lead with over one-fifth of total EU beer production, while the brewing industry overall recorded an increase of 2.2 percent.
