EU Clarification on Definition of Mineral Water Demanded
Euractiv has raised the question again of whether EU legislation should more clearly define what natural mineral water is. The issue caused controversy in France in 2024 when media reports revealed that Nestlé Waters filtered and processed its mineral water, contradicting the designation.
