EU Commission Chief Ignores Cyprus in Speech
EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen addressed various crises facing the European Union in a speech, including hybrid threats, climate change, and wildfires. However, she made no mention of Cyprus, the only EU member state that was actually attacked by Hezbollah in March 2026, nor of the Cyprus problem.
