EU Convenes Emergency Interior Ministers Council on Migration Crisis
The European Union is convening an emergency meeting of interior ministers for Tuesday, August 4, to address the ongoing migration crisis in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on the North African coast. Over 50,000 migrants have arrived there, causing significant disagreements and concern within the EU. Officials from member states and experts from Frontex will attend the meeting.
