EU crude oil imports significantly more expensive in Q2 2026
The costs of crude oil imports for the European Union increased by 55.8 percent in the second quarter of 2026, according to Eurostat. Despite the significant cost increase, imported quantities remained relatively stable at 36.7 million units compared to the 2025 average.
