EU Deems Emergency Measures for Tourism Sector Not Yet Necessary
The EU signaled that the impacts of the Iran crisis on tourism have not been severe enough so far to justify emergency measures such as exempting airlines from passenger compensation obligations. European airlines have coped relatively well with the crisis through hedging measures.
