EU Develops Defense Guidelines After Years of Inactivity
The 27 EU member states called for the creation of a defense guideline at a summit in Nicosia. However, Cypriot government sources criticized that nothing had been done throughout the entire decade since the last activation of the mutual defense clause. The summit took place in Cyprus.
