EU extends punitive tariffs against USA indefinitely
The European Commission has extended the suspension of countermeasures against American exports to the EU indefinitely. With a new implementing regulation, the Commission maintains the trade sanctions approved in the summer of 2025 in response to threatened high American tariffs on European exports in abeyance.
