EU Finance Ministers Against VAT Fraud Methods Missing Trader and Carousel
EU finance ministers decided in the Ecofin Council on measures to combat VAT fraud cases, particularly against the missing trader fraud and carousel fraud methods. The goal is closer cooperation between member states, the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), and the European Anti-Fraud Office to enable faster and more targeted investigations.
