EU fire service center in Paphos is operational
The Regional Fire Service Center of the European Union (CRAFS) at the Andréas Papandréou Air Force Base in Paphos is completed and operational. Cyprus will thus play a key role in combating wildfires in the eastern Mediterranean region, according to a spokesman for the Civil Protection Ministry, Panagiotis Liasidis.
