EU imposes 3-euro customs duty on affordable online packages from July 1
The European Union will introduce a flat customs fee of 3 euros on small packages imported from outside the bloc starting July 1, 2026. The measure aims to curb the influx of cheap purchases on platforms such as Shein, Temu, and AliExpress and affects shipments under 150 euros that were previously duty-free.
