EU Lawsuit Against Cyprus Over Natura Violations
The European Union sued Cyprus in court for repeated violations of environmental protection regulations for Natura areas. Years of exceptions and exceptions to exceptions led to this court action. Despite promises, required decrees were not issued on time.
