EU Mandates New Brake Light Technology for Cars From July
From July 7, 2026, all newly registered vehicles in the European Union must be equipped with the new Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) safety system. The system automatically warns following vehicles of abrupt braking maneuvers through flashing brake lights to reduce accident rates.
