EU-Mercosur trade agreement enters into force May 1
The EU and Mercosur begin provisional application of their trade agreement as of May 1, 2026. The agreement is intended to bring immediate tariff reductions and open new markets for European products, improving export opportunities for EU companies, farmers, and small and medium-sized enterprises.
