EU Parliament Accelerates European Defense Investments
The European Parliament adopted three legislative measures to accelerate defense investments and simplify procurement procedures. The measure to expedite approvals for defense projects was adopted with a large majority (540 yes votes, 105 no votes, 22 abstentions) to strengthen the EU's capacity to address security challenges.
