EU Parliament Accelerates Returns Directive for Migrants
The European Parliament has broadly approved the European People's Party, agreeing to begin negotiations with the EU Council to expedite completion of the regulation on returns of irregular migrants. The initiative aims at faster procedures for deportation of third-country nationals illegally residing in the EU.
