EU Recycling Rules Reach Cyprus Used Car Market
New EU regulations on the design, manufacturing and disposal of vehicles came into force this week, setting binding targets for recycled plastic and stricter controls on the export of used cars. The regulation aims to recover more steel, aluminum, copper, plastics and critical raw materials from old vehicles and hold manufacturers accountable for their vehicles as waste.
