EU regulation: coffee shops must accept customer cups from 2027
A new EU regulation starting in 2027 requires all restaurants and cafés to serve beverages in customers' reusable containers if the customer wishes. Charalambos Theopemptou, former chairman of the Parliamentary Environment Committee, stated that this is an EU regulation that must be implemented in a binding manner.
