EU report: shortcomings and gaps in rule of law in Cyprus
The European Commission reports progress on rule of law in Cyprus in its report but also identifies significant shortcomings. The Commission recommends, among other things, completion of the reform of the bar association, establishment of an independent judicial service, and strengthening of the efficiency of independent authorities.
