EU strengthens fight against VAT fraud
EU institutions have agreed on new regulations to combat VAT fraud. The new regulatory framework provides that the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) and the EU anti-fraud office (OLAF) will in future have more direct access to relevant data. The aim is to strengthen cooperation between member states and European authorities.
