EU Vice President Fitto: Cyprus Should Plan Early for New EU Financing
Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice President of the European Commission, called on Cyprus to prepare now for the new European financing period. He pointed out that Cyprus's special challenges as an island state should be considered when planning the next European programs. Fitto made these remarks in his opening speech at the Cyprus Forum 2026.
