EU warns of ongoing energy shock and considers rationing
The European Union is preparing for possible impacts of the Middle East conflict on energy markets. EU Energy Commissioner Dan Jørgensen warned of a prolonged energy shock and announced that the EU is examining various scenarios to address the crisis, including possible fuel rationing measures and the release of additional oil quantities from strategic emergency reserves.
