EU-Wide AI Rules: Fines Up to 35 Million Euros
Cyprus is working on a legal framework to implement EU regulations on Artificial Intelligence. The current draft provides for high fines of up to 35 million euros for violations. Two draft laws were submitted for public consultation to comply with EU Regulation 2024/1689.
