European Parliament calls for justice for women through 1974 invasion
The European Parliament discussed the impact of the 1974 Turkish invasion on Cypriot women and girls. The debate addressed crimes committed by Turkish forces and their consequences for gender equality. A corresponding resolution is to be presented to the plenary assembly in Strasbourg on Wednesday.
