European Parliament Supports Property Rights of Cypriot Displaced Persons
The European Parliament has anchored the property rights of Cypriot displaced persons in a budget-relevant resolution for the first time. This opens the door for future claims for European financing in an area that has remained outside the European budget system for decades. The amendment was approved by the Budget Committee of the European Parliament.
