Europe's Construction Sector Shrinks - Production Declining
Construction production in the Eurozone and EU declined in February 2026 compared to the previous year. According to Eurostat data, production in the Eurozone fell by 1.9% and across the entire EU by 2.0%. This development signals a weakening of construction activities in Europe.
